CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan Inaugurates 3-day Mega Agricultural Fair and Exhibition in Morena

Union Agriculture Ministry is organizing a 3-day mega agriculture fair and exhibition in Morena, Madhya Pradesh that started today.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the three-day mega agricultural fair and exhibition organized by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, in collaboration with the State government and district administration in Morena today.

Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar was also present at the Inaugural ceremony.

The mega agri fair will draw about 35,000 farmers from the Chambal-Gwalior region. Every day, 12 separate sessions and 4 group sessions on different important themes will be held for the guidance of farmers, in which agricultural specialists from all across the nation will provide information and presentations.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for Sanjeevani Centres along with the official opening of 103 Amrit Sarovars. Additionally, a foundation-laying ceremony for the stadium's indoor and outdoor facilities, which would cost Rs 10 crore, was held.

On the second day, the fair will be visited by Acharya Devvrat, the governor of Gujarat. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, will attend the event virtually. The Minister of State for Narmada Valley Development, Horticulture, and Food Processing (Independent Charge), Bharat Singh Kushwaha, the MP Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, and the Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Kailash Choudhary, will all attend the inaugural event concurrently.

In the three-day agricultural fair and exhibition organized in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh various techniques and activities related to organic and natural farming will be demonstrated for visitors.

Under the "Meri Policy Mere Haath" campaign, the policy was distributed to the farmers today at the three-day exhibition by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar.
