Such workers can easily register themselves on official e-Shram Portal and avail the benefits of this card. This Card is valid for a lifetime & all across the country.
Benefits of e-Shram Card:

Unorganized workers will get accidental insurance coverage through the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) for a year.

Rs 2 lakh will be provided in case of accidental death & permanent disability.

Rs 1 lakh will be provided in case of partial disability.

Unorganized Workers can avail the assistance of the central & State government during calamities or pandemic.
Documents Required:
To register on e-shram Portal for e-shram Card online application & download, unorganized workers require Aadhaar Card, Aadhaar Linked Active Mobile Number, Bank Account details, electricity bills etc.

Log on to https://register.eshram.gov.in/#/user/self

Now, In order to register on the home page, you need to select the option of “Self Registration”.

Next page will appear, you have to enter mobile number which is linked with Adhaar Card.

Now fill the captcha code.

Now you have to select the option of Yes or No for EPFO & ESIC.

Now click on send OTP and then enter the OTP in the asked section.

Fill the Aadhaar Card number & accept the terms and Conditions. Finally Click on the submit button.

The application form will open in front of you, fill it.

After filling the form, the documents have to be uploaded.

Submit the form and take a hard copy of application for future reference.
How to Check Status of e-Shram Card Application?
The eligible shramiks who have applied for an Online e-shram Card can now check the status using the adhaar number, active mobile number linked with Adhaar & Bank Account details. After e- Shram Card Self Registration, the eShram.gov.in portal will verify all the details which you have provided. After that, on the basis of eligibility criteria & your verification you will be issued a 12 digit UAN number along with Shramik Card.
