Former CJI P. Sathasivam to Visit KJ Chaupal at Krishi Jagran's Delhi Office

Former Chief Justice of India, P. Sathasivam, will be visiting the head office of Krishi Jagran in Delhi, showing his support for the agriculture sector.

Former Chief Justice of India and former Governor of Kerala, P. Sathasivam will visit Krishi Jagran Chaupal on Friday, May 16 to meet the founder of Krishi Jagran MC Dominic. Sathasivam served as the 40th CJI from July 19, 2013, to April 26, 2014. In September 2014, he was appointed as the Governor of Kerala until September 2019.

This visit holds special significance for Krishi Jagran, as Justice Sathasivam hails from a family with a strong agricultural background. Born and raised in Kadappanallur Village in Bhavani, Erode district, Tamil Nadu, Justice Sathasivam's roots lie deep within the farming community. His visit symbolizes the recognition and support given by a publication like Krishi Jagran to the vital agriculture sector.

The esteemed Justice Sathasivam, known for his judicial prowess and commitment to justice, passed historical judgments in his tenure, including Reliance Gas Judgement, the 1993 Mumbai Blast case, Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, among others. Justice Sathasivam has a distinguished career marked by groundbreaking judgments that have shaped the Indian legal landscape. He gave India electoral reforms to India like ‘Nota’, and ‘Paper Trail’, among other notable judgments.

KJ Chaupal have welcomed several dignitary figures lately, including the Governor of West Bengal C.V. Ananda Bose and international figures like Brazilian diplomat, Angelo de Queiroz Mauricio.
