People are upset with the constant rise in cooking gas cylinder prices. Recently, the cost of non-subsidized LPG was raised by Rs 50 further aggravating the situation.  However, the Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries continue to get gas subsidies (LPG subsidy).

These people will get LPG cylinder for Rs 853

Consumers in Delhi and Mumbai may now purchase non-subsidized LPG at Rs 1053 for every 14.2 kg cylinder. Whereas in Kolkata the price is Rs 1079 and in Chennai Rs 1068.50.  However, if you are a beneficiary of Ujjwala scheme then you will have to pay just Rs 853 for LPG cylinder.   That is, the Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries (women) are still receiving subsidies from the Modi government to deal with inflation.

How to Check LPG Gas Subsidy

  • Open the website www.mylpg.in on mobile or desktop or laptop.

  • You will see the photo of gas cylinders of gas companies on the right side of the screen.

  • Here you can click on the photo of the gas cylinder of your service provider.

  • A new window will open on the screen. This is the page of your gas service provider.

  • Now tap on Sign-in and New User option on the top right side.

  • Sign in if you have previously created an ID here. Tap on New User to log in to the website if you haven't already done so.

  • Now a new window will open in front of you. In this, click on View Cylinder Booking History on the right side.

  • You can see here how much subsidy you received for each cylinder. Whenever the subsidy funds will be credited to your account.

  • Along with this, if you have booked gas and you have not received subsidy money, then you have to click on the feedback button.

  • Here you can also file a complaint about not getting the subsidy money.

  • You can also register a complaint by calling the toll-free number 18002333555.
