The benefit is given to farmers under the Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Vikas Yojana. In Jharkhand, farmers can buy milch cows at just 10 percent of the total amount. Through this scheme, women associated with cattle rearing will be provided with a subsidy of 90 percent by the Jharkhand government. Also, people of all other categories can avail 75 percent subsidy.
Who Can Apply?
To take advantage of the Livestock Development Scheme, it is necessary to be a resident of the state. Only cattle herders or farmers can take advantage of this scheme. For this, the applicant should have basic infrastructure related to animal husbandries like the arrangement of space and water.

This scheme is available and offered to the farmers of Jharkhand state districts. The state government says that this grant will assist farmers in increasing the production of cow dung, organic farming, and natural farming.
