CBSE Result 2022: How to calculate the percentage

Add together all the marks obtained in all subjects, divide that amount by the total number of subjects (5), and multiply that number by 100 to determine the percentage (or total marks of 5 subjects). Multiply this by 100 to get your CBSE percentage marks. Let's take an example where you received 50 in Biology, 50 in Physics, 50 in Maths, 70 in Physics, 80 in Chemistry, and 50 in English. Then, to calculate the percentage of marks,

50+50+70+80+50 = 300

Now, calculate Percentage by dividing (300/500) * 100 = 60%

Please be aware that students must compute their aggregate on the basis of the best of 5, which must contain English or a language. In order to determine the best of 4, add the marks earned in the top four subjects, and then divide by 4. In the above example, the best of 4 would be 250/4 = 62.5%.
