Commenting on the announcement, Professor Ramesh Chand says, “I want to thank Mrs. and Mr. Dominic and Krishi Jagran. Together, they have launched a new and unique initiative, the Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI). Till now, we used to look at agriculture and associate it with distress. However, the co-founders have highlighted the prosperity of Indian agriculture via their initiative. This is a paradigm shift; it will create a good impact. In my view, MFOI will be inspirational for farmers to look at agriculture as a profitable enterprise. In the coming future, I am hopeful that the youth of our nation will also be keen to work in the agricultural sector.”
