"Yoga & Ayurveda have a long history that dates back centuries," stated Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra at the event. Yoga was originally mentioned in the Rig Veda, one of the oldest religious writings. "This spiritual practice is founded on a subtle science that seeks to bring the body and mind into harmony. The entire world has been going through a difficult time as a result of Covid-19," Sarbananda Sonowal said in his address to the audience.

"Yoga and Ayurveda have aided in the containment of the Pandemic. I am overjoyed to be a part of this massive Yoga 50th Day Countdown event. I applaud the Ministry of Ayush on holding this event in Jaipur, the Pink City. Today, on this historic city of Jaipur, with a rich legacy of Yoga, has made this Yoga Mahotsav event a grand success," he added.

"Our goal with these Mahotsavas is to create a ripple effect around the rich legacy of yoga. Yoga has been shown to be an elixir for achieving a healthy mind and body. We remain committed to establishing a healthier nation with the support of our rich traditional medicinal system, including Yoga, guided by Prime Minister Modi ji's vision. As this year's G20 chair, India has a specific duty to strengthen our soft power. Yoga has the potential to improve people's health and well-being all around the world. We intend to showcase the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) in the Arctic and Antarctic regions this year."

"The overwhelming reaction to the Yoga Mahotsav in Jaipur has strengthened our resolve to make Yoga a global healthcare movement." The Ayush Minister explained why the 50-day countdown was organized in Rajasthan, saying, "Thousands of foreign tourists visit Rajasthan each year and use the services of numerous yoga institutions to learn yoga and yoga therapies. Rajasthan's yoga institutions have enormous promise in the fields of Medical Value Travel and Spiritual Tourism."

"We are also promoting village tourism in Rajasthan, which complements yoga nicely.  I am convinced that the planned large rally would boost interest in yoga in Rajasthan. Our efforts in each state to link rural populations through Ayush Gramme. An Ayush Gramme will be a conglomeration of two to three villages with a population of more than 3,000 people. Special training would be provided by designating Yoga teachers in the chosen communities, so that each Ayush Gramme is ready to show CYP on June 21, 2023."

"Today we have gathered in this beautiful city to celebrate the 50th countdown of International Yoga Day," stated Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. To comprehend the significance of yoga, we must first define it. Yoga is the outcome of thousands of years of meditation by sages. Yoga is defined by our sages as 'samatvam yoga uchyate,' which means to remain balanced in both bliss and grief, in both equilibrium and imbalance. Yoga has woven the world together, given new meaning to global principles, and brought different health systems closer together. "Yoga and Ayurveda place a high value on the mind-body connection," stated Dr Munjpara Mahendrabhai on the occasion.

Yogashtali Yoga Society, Yoga Peace, and Madan Gurjar & Team, all from Jaipur, also performed at the Yoga Mahotsav. Students, officials from the central and state governments, and yoga aficionados were among those who attended the event. The Ministry organized the event with the active assistance and participation of the Rajasthan state government, local authorities, and other organizations, with the goal of increasing Medical Value Travel in Rajasthan through Yoga. Ishwar V. Basavaraddi, Director of the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga in New Delhi, led the Mahotsav.
