Dr. Trilochan Mohapatra , Secretary (DARE) & Director General (ICAR) urged the young researchers to be dutiful, disciplined, responsive, optimistic and positive in their professional life. Stressing upon the ‘Aspirational Districts’, he emphsised to transform the lives of people through agricultural research. He interacted with newly recruited scientists of ICAR (107th Batch of FOCARS) and newly recruited Assistant Professors of ANGRAU (6th Batch of FoCFAU) at NAARM, Hyderabad.
The scientists must share the responsibilities and credits too, they must feel ‘Pride in Profession’, and ‘Pride in Perfection’. The young researchers are future science leaders of this country, who must set examples, nurture talent and create opportunities for others to grow, he added.
Dr. Ch. Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-NAARM indicated the role of mentoring the young scientists of India.
Prior to interaction with young researchers, he conducted meeting with all the Directors of Hyderabad based ICAR institutes, and gave necessary instructions to make action plan for implementation of the relevant points from the speeches of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
