Veterinary Varsity Youth Festival Starts with Knowledge Sharing and Brush Art

Dr. H.S. Banga, Registrar inaugurated the off-stage phase of the youth festival. Dr Meera D Ansal, Dean, College of Fisheries, Dr S K Uppal, Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Y.P.S. Malik, Dean College of Animal Biotechnology, and Dr Opinder Singh, Controller of Examinations was guest of honor in the different competition sessions.

Dr Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor extended his best wishes to all the participants. He said that every student should participate in extracurricular activities. Dr. Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Director of Students' Welfare said that youth festivals are a suitable medium of internal expression of students. We are extending good facilities to students to improve their talent. Participants were also in high spirits. Dr. A.P.S. Brar Organizing Secretary of the festival said that on the first day of competitions, there were four events: Photography, Quiz, Poster Making, and Cartooning. The topic of Poster Making was ‘Any Festival’ The Subject of the Photography competition was ‘Landscape', for Cartooning, the topic was ‘Politics’.

College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana, College of Dairy Science and Technology, College of Fisheries, College of Animal Biotechnology, College of Veterinary Science, Rampura Phul (Bathinda), Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani participated along with affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar in these events. Dr. Nidhi Sharma, Welfare Officer said that Collage making (09.00 a.m.), Clay Modeling (12.00 noon) will be held on 07^th November 2023 at the Examination Hall of the College of Veterinary Science whereas Elocution and Poetry competitions at Silver Jubilee auditorium at 03.00 p.m.
