After Swiggy and Zomato, Indian Government has stepped into online food delivery services with ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce). Now, another app called Waayu (a product of Desktop HORECA) has been launched by tech entrepreneurs Mandar Lande and Anurudha Kotgire.

According to media reports, Waayu App has been launched to address issues encountered by customers and restaurants such as biased reviews, unfair rankings, high commission rates, etc. It is a SaaS platform through which customers can connect with Mahesh Lunch Home, Bhagat Tarachand, Shiv Sagar, Guru Kripa, Persian Darbar, Kirti Mahal, Banana Leaf, and Ladu Samrat restaurants in Mumbai. The “Waayu” is now only serviceable in Mumbai. Soon, it will be activated in other states of India.
