The government of India is providing excellent internship opportunities to students pursuing IT or B.Tech. degrees. Apply to these internships and get a chance to work for prestigious organizations while acquiring relevant skills.

Here's a list of internships you may apply for this month to obtain such experience and knowledge.

Government Internships for IT Students:

Dehradun Smart City

This is a full-time internship for students pursuing B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering or Computer Engineering or the equivalent. In this role, the intern will support the Deputy General Manager of Information Technology in the implementation of all IT projects for the Smart City Project. He or she must be proficient in Microsoft Office and must have his or her own laptop.

Perks:

The internship is for three months, and the candidate will get Rs 5000 as a monthly stipend as well as a certificate from Dehradun Smart City Limited upon completion.

Smart City Surat

Internship opportunities are available here for B.Tech. /B.E. /Equivalent (Information Technology) and B.Tech/B.E/Equivalent (Computer Networking) graduates. 

There are four spaces available for IT internships and five slots available for Computer Networking internships. Candidates must have an equivalent degree and would be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000-20,000.

In addition, there are four internship spaces available for B.Tech/B.E./Equivalent (Civil) Graduates and eight spots available for B.Tech/B.E./Equivalent (Electrical) Graduates. Candidates would be awarded a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000-20,000.

Jammu Smart City Private Limited

Jammu Smart City Limited is searching for website developer interns who can start right away and work for a six-month term (full-time). Candidates will design and manage websites throughout this internship. 

They will also be in charge of the site's technical components, such as performance and capacity, which are measurements of a website's speed and capacity to handle traffic. Web developers can also contribute material for the site.

Candidates must have a B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent, B.Tech. / B.E./ Equivalent, BCA, and a specialisation in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or Information Technology.

The monthly salary is Rs. 15,000, and candidates can apply through the AICTE Internship site until July 8.

Tiruppur Smart City Private Limited

There are two positions available here, statistical analysis and data analytics. Candidates will be responsible for the design and maintenance of data systems and databases. 

They will also help with the interpretation of data sets, trends, and patterns that might be useful for diagnostic and predictive analytics activities. They will also work with programmers, engineers, and organizational executives to find process improvement possibilities, suggest system changes, and build policies for data-driven governance.

Perks:

In addition to a monthly compensation of Rs. 10,000, applicants will receive travel reimbursement to project sites as needed. Materials and stationery for trainees will be provided.

Candidates should have a BA or B.Sc. degree with a specialization in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics. Interested individuals have until July 13 to apply via the website.
