Webinar titled ‘ERP & AI - Digitalising the Future of Agriculture’ will be organized by IRGA on 24 February 2022. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have been in use for some time now, however, for some reason, their adoption into the agricultural sector has seen a limited pickup, especially in in-field operations.

On the other end of the technological map is Artificial Intelligence, which in recent years has garnered increasing interest by agri-businesses towards improving crop yields and quality.

Pooling data into a single, digital management system and incorporating predictive A.I. analytics to generate insights that aid decision-making could substantially improve the capacity of agribusinesses to meet the growing demands of a global food market.

Speakers List:

Datuk Haji Daud Haji Amatzin

A former executive director of FELDA plantation Sdn Bhd, Datuk Haji Daud has many years of experience in multidrop management. Also serving as Deputy of the International Institute of Plantation Management, he has a deep understanding of productivity and sustainability in agricultural practices.

Saravanan Subramaniyan

Sarvananan has spent 25 years developing software solutions for the plantations industry in Malaysia and developed the iPlantation application that has been used by a number of local businesses. He is currently involved in the rollout and development of iPLANT, along with various other new software and solutions utilizing A.I. technology.
