Agriculture Education Day is celebrated on 3rd December every year which is the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna- Dr. Rajendra Prasad who was the first president of Independent India and Union Minister of Food and Agriculture of India in 1946. He was one of the famous leaders of the Indian Nationalist Movement and was one of the chief architects in shaping the Republic of India.
As a strong believer in the maximization of agricultural production, he made a slogan ‘Grow More Food.’
To realize the importance of this day, Krishi Jagran is organizing a Webinar on Importance of Agriculture Education for All on 3rd December 2021 at 3 pm on Zoom.
