Banks will be closed for up to 15 days in April 2023, including weekends, according to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) holiday calendar. The reason is the nationwide celebration of several festivals and special events.

When scheduling a visit to a branch in April, it is advised to verify the bank's closing schedule to avoid any inconvenience. State-specific bank holidays are also different, and not all financial institutions follow them. These holidays rely on state-specific festivities or announcements of specific events in several states.
