The Conclave is India's premier event in the climate policy and carbon market arena, conducted yearly by FICCI in collaboration with the Government of India's Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
FICCI inaugurated the Conclave as the "India Carbon Market Conclave" in November 2007. The Conclave brought together global carbon credit purchasers, investors, and financiers with a diverse range of Indian stakeholders.
In 2013, the Conclave was renamed "India Climate Policy and Business Conclave" to reflect on domestic and international climate policy, as well as business perspectives and activities on climate mitigation and adaptation.
