The ARISE AGM in 2023 will highlight members' accomplishments, track progress on initiatives, and define priorities associated with the alliance's key performance indicators (KPIs).
ARISE, the Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies, is a network of private sector organisations led by UNDRR dedicated to assisting in the implementation of the Sendai Framework. ARISE mobilizes and assists the private sector in making risk-informed investments and implementing business practices that reduce and prevent the production of risk, create resilience, and improve disaster recovery in accordance with the Sendai Framework.
ARISE, which is organized into 28 national networks throughout the world, focuses on four priorities: SMEs, incorporating DRR into investment decisions, encouraging DRR within the insurance business, and resilient infrastructure.
